There’s a video here that discusses video training for estimating and accounting for contractors.

I totally agree that it’s a better format for training than printed materials whether they are actually a printed manual or a pdf. The challenge I’ve personally found with printed materials Vs video is the printed materials will refer to a button or a link and you can’t find it on the screen.  With a video you can see where the mouse is going and where the dem0nstrator is pointing.
